There wasn’t a single moment of boredom during my stay! You literally feel like you’re apart of mother natures personal playground that’s filled with plenty of different things to do, see, and eat! What makes the grounds even more special is that it’s gated meaning only registered guests are allowed on the property. There’s no need to worry about heavy traffic of people coming from every direction of the world. I felt like I had the whole playground to myself and this was during peak fall season at the Catskills! Experiencing A Tiny House Resort during fall foliage in the Catskills is truly enchanting. You can’t help but be hypnotized by all the vibrant colors of the fall leaves that you’re constantly faced with! Leaf peepers, rejoice!
I spent the majority of my leisure time trying to be one with nature! Hiking their well-maintained trails, marveling at the mini-epic waterfall, and spending some up close & personal time with the adorable farm animals on-site really does the body and soul some good! Living in the city and dealing with the daily hustle & bustle does take its toll on a person’s mental & physical state. I’m not sure about you but I receive so much clarity, inspiration, & an improvement in my mood when I’m surrounded by the great outdoors! Throughout the grounds, you’ll also encounter giant-sized outdoor games such as this gorgeous chess set below!
Think Big! A Tiny House Resort does have a snack shack & souvenir shop to satisfy those random cravings lol! The store is unstaffed and runs on the honor system. Guests can leave cash or use Venmo. If you’re serious about your fitness, the resort recently opened “Tiny Gym” which has a variety of cardio machines and a weight section. If an indoor gym isn’t your thing, you’ll have no trouble getting your fitness on with all the physical activities that are available on this expansive thrilling outdoor property!

There are over a dozen unique and charming tiny houses at Think Big! A Tiny House Resort – 15 to exact during the time of my stay! I was graciously welcomed with open arms as soon as I arrived. She was such a sweetheart and encourage me to live my best life during my stay! The Oki is literally a stargazer’s dream! This tiny house on wheels is a two-story, open concept that sleeps 4 people and has more headroom than you might have at home. The upstairs queen bedroom has breathtaking nature views on three sides and is the highlight of this windowed and wide-open hideaway, particularly in the fall as the leaves put on a show.
The Oki comes with a complete kitchen & bathroom. An additional twin bed and fold-out couch accommodate family members or friends. A 13-foot-tall downstairs window invites the outdoors in, too, and the spacious, wood-decked patio with a grill, umbrella table, and cushy wicker lounge set adds three-season living space. It’s also steps away from the pool.
I decorated my spacious cabin style tiny house with some autumn foliage garland, mini lanterns, and flowers for some fun photos – yes, I know I’m a bit extra but why not!? lol
Packing suggestions: When planning to experience the tiny living life, you don’t want to overpack. It’s best to leave the suitcase at home, an ikea bag or soft pack gives you more room in the tiny house. Think soft-sided luggage, one that can be tucked away.
