In the heart of Tribeca I came across this bright and charming restaurant. Upon entering, the atmosphere definitely has this New Orleans flare. The live Jazz, bold floral wallpaper, checkerboard floors, and tropical plants are a standout (I’m a sucker for pretty interior). The Cajun / Creole inspired menu features lunch, dinner, and late night bites. It has a bit for everyone including vegetarians and vegans. Some of their popular dishes include fried oysters, jambalaya (both seafood and vegan versions) and shrimp and grits. The food is wonderful, innovative, and fresh. My personal favorites on the menu were the veggie burger and the white chocolate & caramel croissant bread pudding (heaven on earth). If you are in the area, don’t miss this experience!
